Getting the opportunity to be trained and coached by Phil was a once in
a life time experience. He has diet, nutrition, and exercise science down
to the tee. I am a Division 1 wrestler in the United States, and I was able
to get in the best shape of my life, just in 10 weeks with the help of Phil.
He was able to coach me into winning a Gold Medal in an international
submission wrestling tournament as well, and that was with only about 4

I trained with Phil for 8 months during my off-season. During that time I
became quicker, stronger, and more explosive - with more endurance
than I've ever had. He's the only trainer I've ever had who cares about my
results and how my training and nutrition translates to my sport. I had a
strong season and will be back with Phil for more.

My name is Ivan Rivera and I am a judo fighter in the 81 kilogram
category. I have now been training with Phil for one year and in this year
I have gained superior strength, speed, power, and conditioning. All this
has reflected on great results in my competitions. I received 2 gold
medals in 2 national tournaments in 2009 in the junior category, silver
medal in the Pan-American Championships, and 2 bronze medals in the
Nationals adult category. His routines have always been focused on top
physical performance, with exercises that are specialized and adequate
in the discipline you are dedicated in.

When I decided that I had been spending too much time sitting, I joined the Rosas + Xocolate gym,
with Phillip as my trainer. I had read that as a person ages, working with weights and strengthening
one’s body also serves to strengthen and preserve one’s mind as well. I didn’t really know what a
trainer would do for me, but I was willing to give it a try. Working with Phillip over the last three
months has COMPLETELY converted me. By following the very easy diets that he has prescribed for
me, and working out with him only three days a week, I have seen very solid improvements in both
my body and my spirit. My body feels much stronger, I have more endurance and balance, I feel
healthier in general and I love my workouts, even when they are difficult. Phillip has patience,
knowledge and he loves what he does… and that comes across every day. I enjoy working with him
and would recommend his services to anyone who wants to improve their health, lose weight, get
stronger or train for a particular event.
